States risk losing millions of federal work-share dollars

Derek Thomas, a senior policy analyst with the Indiana Institute for Working Families, said he is "extremely disappointed" his state has not enacted work-share legislation. His group has researched and lobbied on the issue for three years, calling the program "our nation's most effective job destruction prevention program." Indiana's jobless rate is 6.9%.
